At the gates of life!

A long, tiresome walk is over
In this mortal world
My last moments on earth,nearby..
I turned back to my past
Realising bitterness of my heart
Shame,I was of no good to any
Scared ,for the first time in life
Whom do I cry out?
Its too late,for any help
Last minutes alive on earth
Worry!
Would my soul, seek for peace?
I am a sinner
No time left for any change
Can only repent and seek forgiveness
Will my lord forgive for my doing?
I longed,
To reach the gates of life
I prayed,for the first time in life
Seeking forgiveness for all ..
Heard my lord
You are my lost sheep
Glad ,You are back !
Wept,for the first time in life
Eyes of my heart opened
Felt an immense joy and peace
Oh ! What a Heavenly happiness?
Time for Goodbye to all..
But none besides me
Lonely!
But not alone, in his presence..
Closed my eyes with faith
Glowing hope,to meet my saviour
At the gates of Life..
